Job summary
TELUS Health is seeking an Intermediate Systems Specialist to ensure the accuracy of pension calculations within our pension verification team. The role emphasizes test design, scenario identification, and rigorous validation across North American markets, while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications
- University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or finance.
- 4+ years of defined benefit pension plan administration experience.
- Experience with verification or implementation of pension calculation systems.
- Proficiency with pension calculation software and advanced Excel; VBA a plus.
Responsibilities
- Define test scope and criteria with leaders and analysts.
- Analyze documents and configurations to identify key test scenarios.
- Execute calculation tests, verify results, and document anomalies.
- Maintain and enhance the test suite with new features and changes.
- Join calculation reviews and team meetings to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with development, actuarial, and business teams to resolve issues.
- Suggest improvements to verification and testing processes.
