Qualifications

• University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or finance.
• 4+ years of defined benefit pension plan administration experience.
• Experience with verification or implementation of pension calculation systems.
• Proficiency with pension calculation software and advanced Excel; VBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define test scope and criteria with leaders and analysts.
• Analyze documents and configurations to identify key test scenarios.
• Execute calculation tests, verify results, and document anomalies.
• Maintain and enhance the test suite with new features and changes.
• Join calculation reviews and team meetings to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with development, actuarial, and business teams to resolve issues.

Join our DB Pension Implementation Team as an Intermediate Systems Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the quality of pension calculations. You will identify critical test scenarios, execute tests using our pension calculation software, verify results, and ensure follow-up on the resolution of detected anomalies.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with functional leaders and business analysts to clearly define test scope and criteria
• Analyze technical documents and configuration specifications to identify critical test scenarios
• Execute calculation tests, verify results, and document detected anomalies
• Maintain and enhance the test suite based on new features and system modifications
• Participate in calculation review sessions and team meetings to validate configuration accuracy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (development, actuarial, business) to resolve identified issues
• Propose improvements to verification and testing processes

What You Bring

• University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or finance
• 4+ years of relevant experience in defined benefit pension plan administration
• Experience in calculation verification and/or implementation of pension plan calculation systems
• Proficiency with pension calculation software
• Advanced Excel skills
• VBA programming knowledge (asset)
• Excellent organizational skills and priority management
• Ability to solve complex problems
• Strong attention to detail and professional rigor
• Ability to work effectively both in teams and independently

Salary Range: $65 000,00 - 85 000,00 CAD

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
