Job summary

TELUS Health is seeking a Data Conversion Analyst to help move legacy client data into modern, reliable systems for pension and benefits administration. You will analyze and validate data, assist with data mapping and cleansing, and run queries to ensure data quality across projects.

Remote-friendly role: work from anywhere in the U.S. with occasional travel; mentoring from senior leads and hands-on training in TELUS Health's Ariel platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years in data analysis, data conversion, data migration, or related field.
• Authorized to work in the United States and available for occasional travel within the U.S.
• Working knowledge of SQL to query, analyze, and validate data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with formulas, lookups, and pivot tables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate legacy client data against conversion specifications and business rules.
• Support data mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation; document findings clearly.
• Run queries and checks to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and errors before production.
• Support testing cycles by documenting results and logging issues for resolution.
• Prepare materials and capture notes for client data workshops and meetings; explain data structures and rules to client teams.
• Collaborate with Data Managers and SMEs to complete tasks accurately and on time.
