Job summary

DriveTime Family of Brands is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to oversee end-to-end delivery of Pega projects. You will motivate and empower your team, drive performance, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver on business goals and automation opportunities.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, Agile practices, and a focus on continuous improvement within a high-energy, remote-friendly work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional development experience and have lead teams informally or formally on large projects.
• Experience having direct reports is preferred but not required.
• Extensive experience designing workflows using Pega capabilities.
• Deep understanding of Agile principles and experience mentoring teams on their application.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of features for Pega projects.
• Analyze interactions between component parts to ensure the integrity of the system.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collective ownership of quality and deliverables.
• Set clear, measurable performance goals for team members and conduct regular 1:1s.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to provide strategic insights and effective automation solutions.
• Proactively address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations and escalating when appropriate.
