PLOS is looking for a Peer Review Operations Specialist for a fully remote position. You will maintain efficient peer review workflows, uphold vendor performance standards, and ensure a quality contributor experience.

This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. The salary range established for this position is £27,000 to £30,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package for employees.

Qualificações

• Prior experience in peer-reviewed scholarly publishing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional customer service attitude.
• Able to work under tight deadlines while achieving high standards of quality.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the timely and efficient peer review of all submissions.
• Address queries raised by vendors and other PLOS colleagues.
• Identify and remove barriers to submission.
• Proactively identify workflow inefficiencies and diagnose issues.
