Job summary

Holon Health in Detroit area is seeking a Recovery Coach to bring lived recovery experience to the center of our care model. This is a full-time, remote position, with some evening availability to accommodate client needs across time zones.

You will collaborate with the Holon care team to develop personalized recovery plans, connect clients to essential resources, and advocate within the care and justice systems to support lasting wellness.

Qualifications

• Sustained recovery with at least 1 year of lived experience
• Certified PRS or Peer Recovery Coach
• Empathetic with strong listening and communication skills
• Experience thriving in a remote, fast-paced, team-based environment
• Committed to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards
• Aligned with Holon’s values of equity, inclusion, and whole-person care

Responsibilities

• Build trusting, nonjudgmental relationships with clients using lived experience
• Offer hope, motivation, and accountability from recovery experience
• Collaborate with Holon care team to develop personalized recovery plans
• Connect clients to housing, healthcare, employment, transportation
• Conduct strengths-based assessments to identify client needs and goals
• Advocate for clients within the justice system and care system
• Partner with Care Navigators, clinicians, and judicial points of contact for integrated care
• Stay informed on best practices in peer support and recovery-based care
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Contribute to new initiatives and engagement strategies
