Job summary

Workit Health is seeking a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist to deliver remote, group-based interventions for individuals with Substance Use Disorders. You will co-facilitate groups, manage follow-up appointments, and provide telehealth-based case management from a fully remote setting.

We value empathetic, compliant professionals who can adapt to flexible schedules, including evenings and some weekends, while maintaining high-quality care and client-centered support.

Qualifications

• Active Peer Recovery Certification is REQUIRED.
• Experience facilitating support groups.
• At least 1 year of peer recovery experience.
• Preferred experience in customer service settings.
• Experience with EMR, HIPAA and 42 CFR Part II.
• Familiarity with addiction recovery.
• Ability to manage stress in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group-based intervention and case management for members with SUD.
• Co-facilitate multidisciplinary groups and follow-up appointments.
• Work a flexed schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Provide evidence-based SUD services through psychoeducational and skills-development groups.
• Manage member communication via chat, email, and phone with empathy and respect.
• Document care plans clearly, timely, and in compliance with regulations.
• Support adults and adolescents while adhering to confidentiality standards.
