Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a remote 20-hour weekly role in Massachusetts. You will deliver patient care in a pediatrics-focused setting, following RN protocols, and coordinating care with the clinical team.

Remote arrangement for MA residents with weekend/holiday rotation is included. Responsibilities include patient education, care transitions, medication administration in line with protocols, and ensuring high-quality documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State-approved school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted nursing license in Massachusetts.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• EMR experience or aptitude to learn EMR systems.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Provide RN-based care delivery and follow-up per protocols.
• Conduct telephone triage and coordinate care.
• Perform clinical procedures and document timely in EMR.
• Contribute to quality improvement and staff mentoring.
