Job summary

Abbott in the United States is seeking a Pediatric Sales Specialist based in Ft. Wayne, IN with up to 50% travel. You will develop and support territory sales for Similac and PediaSure in hospitals and clinics, negotiating contracts and building relationships with Dietitians, Physicians and Nurses.

Bachelor's degree required; 2+ years healthcare sales with clinical experience preferred. This role offers remote work options and a company car; Abbott provides benefits and a strong retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years healthcare sales experience with clinical experience (RDNs and RNs).
• Stability and proven success in sales.
• Knowledge of hospital settings, pediatrics a plus.
• Vendor credentialing requirements, including vaccination for COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support territory sales goals in hospitals and offices for Similac and PediaSure.
• Hospital negotiations and contracting.
• Knowledge of products, studies, protocols and guidelines for selling environment.
• New product launches.
• Understand hierarchy of hospital departments (NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries).
• Work effectively with Dietitians, Physicians and Nurses.
• Budget management and autonomy.
