Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a full-time Remote Pediatric Medical Coder to review patient records and assign standardized codes for diagnoses and procedures in a fully remote setting.

You will review and code records, collaborate with clinical staff, and audit coding quality to ensure compliant revenue cycle practices. 2–5 years of experience and CPC/CCS credentials are favored for this role.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional fee or revenue cycle coding experience
• Current coding experience in PICU and/or Neonatology
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding conventions
• Knowledge of federal, state, and commercial payer coding and billing standards
• Certification such as CPC, CCS-P, CCA, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA

Responsibilities

• Review and code patient records, ensuring compliance with coding standards and maintaining a 95% accuracy rate
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to resolve documentation queries and improve revenue cycle practices
• Audit coding quality and participate in regular updates to maintain compliance with coding regulations
