Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a fully remote Certified Professional Fee Coder to review patient records and clinical documentation to assign standardized codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services with high accuracy.

You will review discharge summaries, operative reports, and collaborate with clinicians to resolve documentation queries, while supporting audits and process improvements to enhance data quality and coding efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of revenue cycle professional fee coding experience or equivalent training.
• Intermediate knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10 coding conventions, and clinical documentation requirements.
• Ability to complete required medical center computer systems and coding training.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and commercial carrier coding and billing standards.
• Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent licensure.

Responsibilities

• Review and code patient records, discharge summaries, and operative reports while ensuring compliance with coding standards.
• Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to resolve documentation queries and maintain productivity standards.
• Participate in audits and process improvements to enhance data quality and coding efficiency.
