Job summary

Equip Health is a fully virtual clinic headquartered in the United States, seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide evidence-based nutrition care for families in a telehealth setting. The role entails collaborating with the care team to deliver family-based treatment, with a focus on dietary planning, education, and discharge planning.

Requires California residency, ACEND‑accredited education, and an active RDN license.

Qualifications

• Must reside in California.
• Bachelor’s degree or ACEND‑approved coursework.
• Licensed RDN; eating disorder experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience on interdisciplinary teams; organized and results-driven.
• Balanced view of business needs and clinical priorities; able to handle pace.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families in transforming eating patterns via ongoing remote support.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with telehealth and meal plans.
• Guide exposure to fear foods and coordinate with the care team.
• Communicate meal plans and nutrition concerns clearly to the team and families.
• Echo team directives in interactions with families.
• Assist with discharge planning.
• Update plans weekly with progress and goals.
• Reassess nutritional needs and share recommendations with team/families.
• Deliver evidence-based nutrition education to address irrational thoughts about food.
• Establish therapeutic relationships with families and maintain professional boundaries.
• Document thoroughly in Equip’s EMR; perform other duties as assigned.
