Job summary

Agility Robotics is seeking a PCB Layout and Interconnect Engineer to shape the next generation of Digit. You will drive robust electronics, create complex PCB layouts in Altium, and design interconnects for a commercial-scale robot.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure production-ready designs, while meeting mechanical and thermal constraints and IPC-620 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years PCB layout and cable harness design experience.
• Deep experience with Altium Designer for PCB layout.
• Familiar with IPC-620 standards and harness design tooling.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex, multi-layer PCB layouts using Altium Designer for release.
• Design system cable assemblies, wire harnesses and interconnect schematics.
• Estimate work duration to contribute to project schedules.
• Implement PCB/harness solutions to improve emissions, power, and DFM/DFA.
• Lead design reviews and respond to cross-functional feedback.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering on outlines, keep-out areas, and routing.
