Job summary

Digit is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to develop robust electronics for humanoid robots. You will own PCB schematic design, prototype and validate board-level systems, and collaborate with mechanical, firmware, systems and manufacturing engineers to ensure safe, reliable production-ready designs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of experience, plus deep Altium skills, component qualification, and strong embedded control knowledge.

We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to develop the robust, reliable electronics behind our next generation of humanoid robots. Your work will directly influence Digit’s design as we scale the platform to meet real-world customer needs.

You’ll collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, firmware, systems and manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are safe, reliable and ready for production.

What You’ll Do

• Own PCB schematic design and oversee PCB layout through to release
• Identify, select and qualify electrical components
• Prototype, bring up and validate board-level electrical systems
• Develop verification plans, execute testing and document results
• Lead designs through cross-functional design reviews
• Design for EMC, testability, manufacturing and assembly

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• 7+ years of electrical design experience
• Deep experience with Altium, including component creation and schematic capture
• Experience managing internal or external PCB layout resources
• Strong knowledge of embedded controls, microcontrollers and digital design

• Flex circuits and cable-harness design
• Analog sensing, instrumentation, op-amps and ADCs
• Motors and motor control, particularly BLDC motors
• PCB layout, firmware, mechanical or test engineering
