Job summary

ProSearch is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for a temporary/ temp-to-hire role. The position offers a hybrid setup with weekly payroll for 250+ employees and a schedule of about 20–25 hours per week, Monday–Thursday. Remote work is supported, with preference for candidates in Maine, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts.

The role is 6–12 weeks initially, with potential for permanent placement for the right candidate, and pay ranges from $30–$40 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Prior hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Experience with Paylocity, ADP or Paycom.
• Ability to meet weekly payroll deadlines.
• Remote work capability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for 200+ employees.
• Review payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Help clean up and verify payroll information after a system transition.
• Work closely with HR to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Troubleshoot payroll issues and navigate a complex payroll process.
