Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Back Payroll Specialist for a 100% remote role based in Massachusetts. This temp-to-perm position pays $35-$43 per hour and requires residence in New England. You will use ADP Workforce Now to manage end-to-end, multi-state payroll, ensure data integrity, and stay in compliance with wage and hour laws.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably multi-state.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and wage and hour laws.
• Experience reconciling payroll and collaborating with Finance.
• CPP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end, multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now.
• Maintain payroll data integrity including changes and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws.
• Reconcile payroll and coordinate with Finance to post to GL.
• Support payroll tax filings, year-end tasks, and audits.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
