Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. is hiring a Payroll Specialist III to support in-house payroll processing. The role is remote, with candidates required to reside in California, Oregon, or Washington.

You will process biweekly payroll, ensure timekeeping accuracy, and generate earnings/tax/deductions reports, while maintaining audit-ready payroll files. A strong background in multi-state payroll and payroll compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience (in-house preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, reporting, data analysis).
• Familiarity with imports/exports and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll and reconciling payroll data.
• Ensure submission of timesheets.
• Create basic ad-hoc reports on earnings, taxes, and deductions.
