Progressive Leasing, a PROG Holdings subsidiary, seeks a Payroll and People Operations Specialist to manage cross‑company payroll operations with accuracy and timeliness. You’ll collaborate closely with our Payroll Manager to ensure compliant payroll processing and leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and scalability.

The role supports multiple brands in the PROG family and is remote within the United States, preferably in Mountain or Central time zones.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, multi-state preferred.
• Workday Payroll experience required; equity/stock payroll a plus.
• Familiarity with ADP SmartCompliance and payroll tax rules (IRS/Form 941).
• Strong accuracy under tight deadlines; excellent reconciliation skills.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule in Workday.
• Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies before processing.
• Monitor stock/equity settlements and ensure timely tax deposits.
• Audit payroll results for accuracy and compliance.
• Support year-end activities such as W-2 and ACA reporting.
• Document payroll timelines and support continuous improvement.
