Job summary

Pie Insurance is seeking a mid-level Payroll Partner Service Advocate to support payroll partners and insureds. You will respond to inquiries, uphold SLAs, and collaborate across teams on policy issuance, renewals, and escalations. Prior payroll partner or insurance service experience is preferred.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, proactive issue resolution, and onboarding support for new hires. Remote work is allowed within the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in a high-volume customer contact environment required.
• 1+ year of insurance customer service, administrative, or sales experience required.
• 1+ year Payroll Partner customer service experience preferred.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills to develop sound processes and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Handles email and platform-based communication with payroll partners and cross-functional stakeholders to provide excellent customer service.
• Maintains SLA’s set by Payroll Partner Ops team in a consistent and efficient manner.
• Handle policy issuance, general questions, follow-up communication, and respond within 24 hours or less to requests.
• Process cancellation requests from insureds and partners and manage renewals.
• Assist in testing and training of new processes and systems for Payroll Pod; maintain SOPs and training materials.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
