Job summary

Pie Insurance is hiring a Payroll Partner Service Advocate to provide timely, high‑quality service to payroll partners and insureds. You will manage policy issuance, renewals, cancellations, and complex questions across platforms, while maintaining SLAs and building key partner relationships.

The role emphasizes teamwork, problem solving, and proactive communication, with on‑going training and resource development. Remote work from the United States is supported.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a high-volume customer contact environment.
• 1+ year of insurance customer service, administrative, or sales experience is required.
• 1+ year Payroll Partner customer service experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills to develop sound processes and workflows.
• Proficient communication skills to build strong relationships and clearly communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provides responsive, timely service to payroll partners via email and platform-based communication.
• Maintains SLA’s set by Payroll Partner Ops team.
• Handles policy issuance, follow-up communication, renewals, and cancellations.
• Addresses complex payroll partner questions and escalations across channels.
• Builds relationships with partners and internal teams to ensure consistent communication.
