BeneSys is seeking a Payroll Field Auditor to perform onsite audits of contracted employer payroll records and ensure accurate reporting and remittance of required contributions. The role covers NE Wisconsin and UP Michigan and prefers residence in Oshkosh/Fond du Lac, WI to minimize travel time.

The Auditor will collect payroll data, prepare audit reports, and coordinate with counsel and management on regulatory matters. Strong math, accounting basics, and Excel skills are required.

Qualificações

• Strong people skills and the ability to travel is a must.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Comfortable working independently and traveling across NE Wisconsin and UP Michigan.

Responsabilidades

• Collect and analyze employer payroll data to detect deficiencies, fraud or non-compliance with laws, regulations and contract provisions.
• Prepare detailed reports on audit findings.
• Confer with Fund Counsel and Management regarding financial and regulatory matters.
• Examine records and interview workers to ensure recording of transactions are compliant with contract provisions.
• Review tax records of contracted employer.
• Identify contracted employers subject to audit and notify Fund Collector and Trustees of audit schedules.
• Assist with responding to requests and inquiries during the annual audit of the Funds.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
• Other duties may be assigned.
