Job summary

Remote is seeking a Payroll Data Administrator to execute payroll steps, maintain data integrity, and support compliant processes across the Benelux/EMEA regions, with guidance from senior teammates. The role emphasizes accurate data handling, timely deliveries, and collaboration in a globally distributed, async team.

You will work with SOPs, maintain audit-ready records, and progressively take on more complex tasks as you grow in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Payroll fundamentals, SOPs, data privacy requirements.
• Statutory settings, earnings and deductions, banking validations.
• Able to execute routine data entry and validations accurately and on time.
• Competent in Google Sheets or Excel, with strong attention to detail.
• Collaborative communicator who escalates exceptions early and learns from feedback.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and calm under deadlines.
• Comfortable adopting AI-assisted workflows as introduced.
• Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch is a plus.
• Aligned with Remote's values and asynchronous ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Execution & Data Integrity: Execute pre-pay, run, and post-pay steps using SOPs and templates; enter inputs and validate against records.
• Controls, Compliance & Documentation: Create and maintain payroll records; flag outdated documentation; maintain confidentiality and basic compliance awareness.
• Payroll Administration: Support expenses, perform routine data reconciliation, manage payroll correspondence and filing; carry out general tasks under supervision.
• Collaboration & Growth: Work with team; communicate progress; identify process gaps; adopt AI tools and share learnings.
