Job summary

Remote is seeking a Payroll Specialist Lead to join our Global Payroll Operations team. You will manage end-to-end payroll, ensure compliance, data integrity, and collaborate across Finance, Product, and Engineers in a fully remote, async work culture.

You’ll leverage automation and AI capabilities to optimize processes, support international payroll with a focus on accuracy and speed, and mentor junior payroll specialists while aligning with our Total Rewards philosophy.

Qualifications

• Payroll management or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of payroll best practices.
• Proficient with SAP and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for impact.
• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Remote work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a true subject matter expert for the country.
• Manage relationships with Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineers.
• Process end-to-end payroll in-house, including statutory filings and compliance.
• Ensure data integrity and quality.
• Perform accounting/reconciliations.
• Focus on KPIs and SLAs.
• Implement and improve payroll processes.
• Mentor payroll specialists.
• Back up regional managers during absences.
