Job summary

Concentra is seeking an Analyst to join the Payroll Compliance & Operations team in a hybrid or remote capacity. The role focuses on auditing payroll and payroll tax results, preparing regulatory reports, and testing payroll system changes for a multistate organization with about 14,000 employees.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or HR, 5+ years payroll experience, and familiarity with SOX controls and multi-state payroll regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or HR.
• 5+ years of payroll experience including payroll tax analysis.
• FPC or CPP certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations.
• Experience with SOX/internal/external audits.

Responsibilities

• Data integrity through audits, reconciliations, and exception reporting.
• Investigate discrepancies with team and leadership to resolve issues.
• Prepare compliance and operations reports.
• Assist with testing and validation of system changes/upgrades.
• Support audits and regulatory requests.
• Monitor audit findings and corrective actions.
