AppDirect seeks a meticulous payroll and benefits professional to own the employee experience behind the scenes across multiple entities in the US. You will manage full-cycle payroll, benefits administration, and LOA handling with strict confidentiality and accuracy.

You’ll partner with Finance, Legal, and People Operations to align compensation, benefits, and compliance, while driving process improvements and data integrity in HRIS systems.

Competenze

• 3-5+ years of hands-on US payroll processing and benefits administration in a multi-state, multi-entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state payroll tax regs and benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, 401(k)).
• Experience with HRIS/payroll platforms such as ADP, Paylocity, Gusto, Rippling, or similar.
• Advanced Excel/Sheets skills: VLOOKUPs, pivots, data reconciliation.
• Discretion handling sensitive compensation data with integrity.
• Strong communication to explain payroll/benefits topics clearly.
• FPC, CPP, or CEBS certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business/Finance or related field or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Process end-to-end payroll for multiple US-based entities; regular, off-cycle, and ad hoc runs.
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, taxes, and payroll transactions.
• Manage multi-state payroll tax registrations, filings, and compliance.
• Lead year-end payroll activities including W-2 prep and reconciliation.
• Serve as liaison with payroll vendors and resolve processing issues.
• Audit and maintain payroll records for data integrity across entities.
• Administer US employee benefit programs across multiple companies.
• Lead annual open enrollment planning, execution and reconciliation.
• Coordinate plan setup, renewals, billing, and issue resolution with brokers.
• Support 401(k) administration including audits and Form 5500 filings.
• Administer LOA per FMLA/ADA/state laws; manage related pay and benefits.
• Coordinate leave-related processes and return-to-work steps.
• Maintain confidential LOA records and reporting in HRIS.
