AppDirect, Inc. is seeking a meticulous payroll and benefits professional to own full‑cycle US payroll, benefits administration, and LOA management across multiple entities.

You will ensure on‑time, accurate payroll, administer complex benefit programs, and maintain strict compliance with federal and state regulations. The role emphasizes data integrity, confidentiality, and collaboration with Finance, Legal, and People Operations to align compensation and benefits strategy.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on US payroll processing and benefits administration in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong working knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, and 401(k) plan administration.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms such as ADP, Paylocity, Gusto, Rippling, or similar.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivots, data reconciliation).
• Discretion handling sensitive compensation data with integrity.
• Strong communication for stakeholders at all levels.
• FPC, CPP or CEBS certification is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Full‑cycle payroll administration for US-based entities, including regular, off‑cycle, and ad hoc runs.
• Oversee all benefits programs across multiple companies and open enrollment.
• Manage LOA and compliance with FMLA, ADA, and state laws.
• Ensure accurate tax withholdings, wage calculations, and record integrity.
• Liaise with payroll vendors and resolve processing issues promptly.
• Generate payroll and benefits reports and support audits and budgeting.
