Job summary

Allied Reliability is seeking a Payroll Administrator to own full-cycle bi-weekly payroll using Paycom. This remote role requires meticulous data handling, strong Excel skills, and deep knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations.

You will manage employee data, ensure tax compliance, perform audits, and generate tailored payroll reports for management. A degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Admin is preferred, with CPP/FPC a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in payroll administration.
  • Advanced proficiency in Paycom and its HRIS, Time & Attendance, and Tax Management modules.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations.
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment using Zoom, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
  • CPP or FPC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full-cycle bi-weekly payroll process using Paycom.
  • Manage and update employee data within Paycom, including hires, terminations, and status changes.
  • Ensure payroll activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Perform audits of payroll data, timecards, and PAFs to resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate and analyze payroll, tax, and labor reports using Paycom tools.
  • Serve as primary contact for employee inquiries regarding pay and pay system navigation.
  • Administer wage garnishments and related tax orders in Paycom.
