Job summary

Tews Company Staffing in Orlando, FL is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for employees and contractors, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will audit payroll data, resolve discrepancies, handle garnishments and timekeeping, respond to inquiries, and build headcount and merit reports while supporting transitions to international payroll and a unified payroll platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience in varied settings.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, wage & hour regulations, and payroll taxes.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and custom reporting.
• Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for employees and contractors.
• Audit payroll data, reports, and transactions; resolve discrepancies.
• Manage payroll changes, garnishments, timekeeping, and employee inquiries.
• Build reports for headcount, turnover, bonuses, merit calculations, and other metrics.
• Support the transition to international payroll following training.
• Assist with the migration to a unified payroll platform.
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
• Partner with HR on payroll-related projects and audits.
