Informa TechTarget is seeking a sharp, experienced Reporter to cover the payments industry from our Washington, DC office. You’ll deliver timely news, enterprise reporting and in-depth features that matter to executives in banking, fintech and technology.

You’ll edit and contribute to newsletters, build sources, and work with a team to develop longer-term editorial projects while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifikationen

• A track record of strong writing and reporting skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced news environment.
• Experience in business, financial services, payments and/or fintech reporting preferred.
• Ability to interpret and analyze business concepts, reports, and regulations.
• Ability to build relationships with industry sources and grasp complex topics related to the payments industry.
• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in journalism, English or similar field.
• At least 3 years of writing and reporting experience.

Aufgaben

• Contribute excellent news stories to the Payments Dive site and daily newsletter.
• Identify key industry storylines we can own.
• Pitch and execute standout pieces on breaking payments news.
• Track analytics to gauge what stories are resonating with readers.
• Collaborate with the Payments team in a growing newsroom.
