Job summary

FIS Management Services, LLC is seeking a senior-level Software Engineer to design and govern a company-wide payments API and event platform. You will define canonical data models, data contracts and versioning to ensure interoperability and audit readiness for digital transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in engineering complex systems and API design.
• Experience with OAuth2.0, JWT, TLS, RBAC, and secrets management.
• Strong understanding of 24x7 low-latency, scalable cloud-based services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and govern the payments API and event platform with canonical models and versioning.
• Lead architecture and operation of 24x7 low-latency services with high availability and automated failover.
• Implement security architecture for digital transactions including tokenization and key management.
• Build and evolve RESTful and event-driven APIs using Java/SpringBoot, .NETCore, Node.js, and Python/Flask.
• Establish observability with traces, metrics, logs, and health dashboards, plus SLI/SLO governance.
