Job summary

Central Payments, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Sioux Falls, SD to build scalable payment technology. You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software using C#, Java, React, and relational databases, while contributing to architecture decisions and mentoring teammates.

You will collaborate with product and business stakeholders, participate in Agile planning, and ensure secure, compliant solutions in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering high-quality software in Agile environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience designing and developing scalable enterprise applications and APIs.
• Experience contributing to architectural decisions and technical design initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using modern technologies.
• Build scalable APIs, integrations, and platform services to enhance product functionality.
• Contribute to software architecture, technical design decisions, and enterprise development.
• Collaborate with Product, PMO, Support, and stakeholders to align with business goals.
• Lead code reviews and promote secure coding practices and continuous improvement.
• Mentor engineers and support knowledge sharing across the team.
• Participate in Agile planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.
