Job summary
Sentara Health Plan is seeking a Payment Policy Research Analyst & Technical Writer in Florida. You will analyze payment policies to uncovercost-saving opportunities, develop policy solutions, and present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- 3 years Health plan experience or 3 years Medical coding, required
- 3 years Health plan claim auditing or appeals, preferred
- BS/BA/Advanced degree in health care or medical field preferred
Responsibilities
- Research & assessment of internal payment policies and solutions to identify cost savings opportunities
- Determine strategies for policy development, authorization criteria, and contract-related changes to achieve savings
- Establish relationships with stakeholders to define and deliver payment initiatives and policy development
