Job summary

Allara is a leading women’s health provider offering expert, longitudinal care across life stages. We are seeking a Payer Operations Specialist to own payer expansion, credentialing, and enrollment processes on a national, fully remote team in the United States.

You will investigate stalled applications, implement quality controls, and drive improvements in cycle time while coordinating with RCM and payer strategy teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of provider enrollment and credentialing experience.
• Experience building or documenting processes and SOPs.
• Comfort owning metrics and reporting on pipeline throughput.
• Highly independent and driven; relentless follow-up in payer networks.
• Exceptional attention to detail and deadline-driven work.

Responsibilities

• Assist Payer Operations leadership with documenting and maintaining end-to-end SOPs for payer contracting, enrollment, and credentialing workflows.
• Implement quality controls and error-catching checkpoints that reduce rework and rejected applications.
• Identify bottlenecks in the expansion pipeline and drive cycle-time improvements.
• Keep enrollment and contracting trackers up to date, flag aging items and delays, escalating blockers with proposed solutions.
• Conduct persistent follow-up with payers via phone, email, and payer portals to confirm receipt and push applications to approval.
• Partner with RCM and payer strategy/business development teams in collaborative problem-solving.
