Job summary

RecruiterForge is seeking a Payer Operations Specialist to support provider enrollment, credentialing, and payer expansion. The role requires documenting processes, maintaining trackers, and escalating obstacles to keep applications moving through approval.

You will collaborate with revenue cycle management and payer strategy teams, own metrics, and ensure accurate, repeatable workflows. The position is fully remote within the United States with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in provider enrollment and credentialing.
• Experience documenting processes and SOPs.
• Owns metrics and pipeline throughput reporting.
• Independent queue management with proactive escalation.
• Attention to detail and deadline-driven work.

Responsibilities

• Document end-to-end SOPs for contracting, enrollment, and credentialing.
• Introduce quality controls to reduce rework and errors.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve cycle times in expansion efforts.
• Maintain enrollment and contracting trackers and escalate obstacles with solutions.
• Follow up with payers to confirm receipt and move applications forward.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle, payer strategy, and development teams on initiatives.
