Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in payer enrollment, hospital, or physician credentialing.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission and credentialing standards.
• Strong organizational, data entry, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payer enrollment, hospital and physician credentialing applications and related data for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter credentialing data into the credentialing database and payer enrollment records.
• Follow up on payer enrollment and credentialing status; track reappointment and changes.
• Verify licensure, certifications, DEA registration, board certification, and malpractice insurance for facilities and physicians.
• Ensure timely processing of credentialing applications and maintain neat, accurate files.
• Maintain and update monthly state licenses and certifications in the database.
• Respond to questions regarding payer enrollment, hospital, and physician credentialing.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety standards; participate in quality initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
