Cambia Health Solutions is hiring a Payables Accountant for a remote role across participating states. The role handles payments to vendors, providers, members, and partners, with emphasis on accurate processing and internal controls.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and 2+ years in accounts payable or related fields, along with strong Excel, Word, and communication skills. Remote work flexibility is offered within allowed states.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required.
• 2+ years in general accounting, accounts payable or disbursement accounting.
• Experience with Excel, Word, and email/calendaring tools.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, statements, and payment documents to ensure correct GL accounts.
• Respond to payment inquiries from vendors, providers, members, and partners.
• Set up EFTs and maintain bank relationships as requested.
• Balance and reconcile payments; audit EFTs and issue replacements if needed.
