Job summary

Rugiet Health in Austin, TX (Remote) seeks a compassionate Patient Support Agent to guide members through our telemedicine platform, answer questions about prescriptions, orders, and care plans, and deliver empathetic, clear assistance.

You will work from a remote, patient-focused setting with a Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, ensuring accurate documentation and seamless care journeys.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, patient support, or call center within healthcare/telemedicine.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication; ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Proven empathy, calmness under pressure, and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce) and standard office tools.
• High attention to detail in documenting information.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new systems quickly.
• Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the First Point of Contact via phone, email, and chat about accounts, prescriptions, orders, and platform navigation.
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered support and de-escalate situations professionally.
• Investigate and resolve patient concerns with internal teams to ensure timely solutions.
• Become a product and service expert to offer accurate information to patients.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication usage, and next steps.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the CRM.
• Share patient feedback with Product, Clinical, and Marketing for improvements.
• Uphold HIPAA and privacy policies in all interactions.
