Phoenix Children's is seeking a Scheduler for its PCMG Access Scheduling team, in a remote (telecommuting) role. The position supports Central Scheduling by handling calls, scheduling appointments across divisions, and collecting patient data for billing.

Shift is Mon-Fri, days, 8am-5pm, full-time. Reporting to the Central Scheduling Supervisor, you will use scheduling software to book appointments, flag discrepancies, and participate in ongoing education to maintain competencies in patient

Aufgaben

• Answers telephones in a timely and professional manner and notifies referring office of patient appointment day, time and location.
• Schedules patient examinations for all modalities, cancels and/or reschedules appointments as necessary, and corrects or modifies discrepancies in scheduling; scheduling modalities.
• Participates in a variety of unit and hospital education programs to maintain current skills and competency levels.
• Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
