Job summary

Gifthealth is seeking a User Researcher, Patient Experience to lead research across our patient-facing product experiences. You will partner with Product and Design to identify critical questions, plan end-to-end studies, and translate findings into actionable guidance for launches and iterations.

The role emphasizes operating with high autonomy, shaping the research agenda, and ensuring privacy-compliant patient recruitment across diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of user research on digital products or services.
• Healthcare, pharmacy, or patient-access experience is welcome but not required; ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own research across patient-facing experiences including enrollment, checkout, patient portal, insurance and benefits experiences, patient communications, and new program launches.
• Partner with Product and Design to frame questions and identify critical assumptions.
• Plan and conduct end-to-end research across the product cycle (discovery, concept, usability, launch readiness, post-launch learning).
• Recruit patients respecting healthcare privacy and consent requirements.
• Synthesize findings into clear implications and recommendations for product teams.
