Job summary

Gifthealth Inc. is seeking a User Researcher, Care & Access to own research across patient access, pharmacy operations, and care workflows.

You will work with Product, Design, and Operations to shape problems and provide evidence-driven recommendations, including on-site research with Columbus teams. The role emphasizes ambiguity tolerance, strong interviewing and synthesis, and the ability to connect qualitative insights with operational data.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of research experience in product, service, or healthcare environments.
• Experience leading ambigious research independently.
• Healthcare, pharmacy, or patient-access experience welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own research across internal care and case-management workflows, pharmacy operations, prescriber experiences, and field-facing products.
• Turn ambiguous problems into clear research questions and identify evidence needed.
• Conduct interviews, observations, contextual and field research, usability testing, and on-site studies.
• Partner with Product and Design early to shape problems and directions.
• Connect qualitative research with operational data to distinguish symptoms from root causes.
• Synthesize findings across tools and workflows to identify patterns and opportunities.
• Build ongoing relationships to surface important questions before urgent requests.
