Job summary

Gifthealth is seeking a Product Designer, Patient Experience to own design end-to-end for patient-facing surfaces such as the portal, checkout, enrollment and communications. You'll work closely with PMs and engineers to frame problems, design flows, wireframes and high-fidelity UI, then hand off specs ready for development.

This hands-on role requires usability testing, quick prototyping, and a commitment to WCAG AA; you’ll contribute to design system usage and collaborate across time zones

Qualifications

• Portfolio of shipped digital product work.
• Solid interaction and visual craft; handles edge cases and responsive behavior.
• End-to-end thinking from flow to state.
• Comfortable running lightweight usability testing.
• Strong Figma fundamentals: auto-layout, components, variables.
• Clean engineering handoff with clear specs.
• Experience using AI tools in design workflows.
• Self-directed with ambiguity and drive to finish.

Responsibilities

• Surface ownership for the Patient Experience surfaces.
• End-to-end design from framing to high-fidelity UI and states.
• Run usability tests and analyze recordings with researchers.
• Build fast prototypes for patient or internal testing.
• Provide ready-to-build specs and accessibility notes.
• Uphold WCAG AA accessibility as a baseline.
• Contribute to a design system and surface gaps.
• Participate in design reviews and critiques.
