Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service, clerical, or healthcare-related experience.
• 3 years of experience preferred.
• EPIC scheduling training/tests must be completed.
• Advanced degree may be considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle calls, chats, and digital inquiries while meeting service level goals and protocols.
• Schedule patient appointments accurately and provide directions, parking info, and required documents.
• Register patients, verify demographics and insurance, and manage authorizations for timely claim processing.
• Document patient needs and outcomes in the EMR/CRM and route to the appropriate team.
• Support outreach by making outbound calls in response to campaigns and marketing initiatives.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and adapt to evolving workflows; maintain a private workstation.
• Enhance patient experience and relationships; contribute to service recovery and issue resolution.
• Perform other duties to support the unit, department, and health system.
