Job summary

EMS|MC is seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team in a role focused on contacting patients, negotiating payment arrangements, and resolving delinquent accounts. You will document outcomes and follow up on inquiries while maintaining professional conduct and compliance with policies.

In this position, you will handle outbound calls, receive payments by phone, and escalate when appropriate. We offer flexible scheduling, a comprehensive benefits package, and remote opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Place outbound phone calls efficiently and professionally.
• Notify consumers of delinquent accounts to solicit payment.
• Receive payments via telephone for customer accounts.
• Manage and follow up on assigned collection accounts.
• Document information and outcome of the call in the system clearly and efficiently.
• Identify situations to transfer/escalate a call to a senior advisor or manager.
• Conduct tasks with professionalism, respect, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Support and demonstrate the company mission and values.
• Assist with special projects and participate in meetings.
• Perform other necessary tasks as assigned by supervisor.
