Job summary

Embedded Shishya is seeking a dedicated Medical Nurse to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll support patient care, document precisely, and assist with administrative tasks while working remotely.

You will collaborate with physicians and care teams, review charts, manage pre- and post-appointment tasks, and coordinate remote monitoring and referrals to improve clinical workflows.

A valid RN license or equivalent is required, with US-time-zone availability and HIPAA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active nursing license (RN or equivalent) or medical license.
• U.S. licensed candidates or licenses accepted from any country with state licensure.
• At least 1 year of remote clinical experience with a U.S.-based healthcare company, or 2+ years of clinical work abroad.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows.
• HIPAA compliance knowledge is required.
• Willingness to work in U.S. time zones (PST, EST, CST).

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intake questionnaires and collect medical history.
• Review and update patient charts accurately.
• Review lab results and imaging with patients.
• Pre-screen patients for eligibility, referrals, or insurance requirements.
• Coordinate care by relaying provider instructions to patients.
• Schedule labs, imaging, or referrals.
• Remote patient monitoring support.
• Assist with documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
