Qualifications

• 5 years work experience with at least two years in Patient Accounting setting.
• Two years in a computerized setting which utilizes various PC software required.
• Mandatory TB testing as required.
• Mandatory OSHA training annually according to the Exposure Control Plan.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate billing activities with daily reports and third parties.
• Balance daily cash and prepare monthly cash worksheets.
• Prepare and analyze department reports for Midland, Clare, Gladwin, and EMS units.
• Coordinate audits and resolve discrepancies with auditors, Medical Records, and department managers.
• Interact with other hospital departments to resolve billing problems.
