Qualifikationen

• Requires an associate's degree in business administration, accounting or related field; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Requires 6 years of accounting or business office experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
• 2 years hospital or physician business experience preferred.
• Local to the Houston area is preferred.
• May substitute education with additional experience on a one-to-one basis.

• Supervise and coordinate hospital commercial and governmental billing functions for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Oversee governmental follow-up activities to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Provide training, counseling, and guidance to billing staff.
• Monitor staff productivity to meet departmental, unit, and individual goals.
• Oversee processing and billing of institutional claims and ensure compliance with regulations.
