Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year full-cycle medical billing experience.
• 6 months in a healthcare cash posting role.
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 and modifiers.
• Ability to read EOBs and interpret denials.
• Basic accounting understanding; familiarity with remittances.

Responsibilities

• Identify payment details and post to patient accounts.
• Balance payments to deposits in systems and applications.
• Post payments to patient accounts using electronic and manual posting.
• Research, validate, and adjust payment postings.
• Follow up on missing information and payer details.
• Escalate issues to leadership and meet productivity goals.
• Collaborate with other teams across the organization.
