Qualifications

• Experience in insurance verification or patient accounts within a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of dental insurance plans, billing procedures, and healthcare regulations.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to service delivery to ensure coverage accuracy.
• Review and process patient accounts, including billing, payments, and adjustments in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim denials, discrepancies, and payment issues.
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding account balances, insurance coverage, and payment options with professionalism and clarity.
