Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a remote Revenue Cycle Payment Posting Specialist to support their backend processes. You will identify payment details, post adjustments, and work reflexively to resolve accounts while communicating clearly with payers and patients.

This role requires familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare rules and strong computer skills. The position is fully remote with a 40-hour work week and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in hospital or physician backend revenue cycle.
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identifies payment details and saves back-up as appropriate.
• Researches and adjusts payment postings to resolve accounts.
• Initiates payer recoupments, refunds, and patient refunds when applicable.
• Navigate payer claim portals and understand payer functionality.
• Communicate effectively in writing and orally.
• Operate computers and office software; read screens and documents in English.
