Job summary

Parallon, a part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Patient Account Collections Specialist to perform outbound calls, follow up on patient receivables, and deliver outstanding customer service from a work-from-home setup within 60 miles of an HCA hospital market.

This full-time role requires 1 mid/evening shift per week plus one Saturday per month; the successful candidate will spend most of the day on the phone, secure payments, and maintain accurate account records while meeting production and

Qualifications

• Previous call center experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle collections preferred.
• BILINGUAL is not required, but a plus

Responsibilities

• Refer calls/accounts to appropriate parties based on inquiries; spend ~90% of time on the phone.
• Identify problem accounts and escalate as needed.
• Update patient account records with actions taken.
• Work with patients and guarantors to secure payment on balances.
• Maintain minimum production standards.
• Achieve passing quality review scores per unit requirements.
• Produce acceptable unit collection volumes.
• Work within attendance guidelines and provide excellent customer service.
